We're expanding our team!

If you have been following the band you will have noticed that we are entering into a very busy phase in our history. We are poised to take ownership of our very own hall in the heart of Dreghorn! This is an amazing opportunity but it is also going to be an incredible challenge for us. We are looking to expand all aspects of the band and charity over the coming year, both in playing and in new non-playing positions. If you have experience of playing a brass instrument and would like to join us and become a part of this exciting time in our history as a brass band then we would love to hear from players of all standards from advanced to learners and those thinking of returning to playing afte

Scottish Championships Training Day

The new decade has started off in full swing for the band as we prepare for the Scottish Championships in later this year. On Sunday 19th January, the band were hosted once again by our fantastic supporters, SimpsInns who provided us with the use of their stunning Lagavulin Suite at The Gailes Hotel and kept us well refreshed with an array of sandwiches, soup, tea and coffee. The day started off with a full band rehearsal led by musical director, Lewis Bettles, giving our tutors the perfect opportunity to immerse themselves into Kit Turnbull’s; The Golden Sabre.
