We are 40!

Over the years, Irvine and Dreghorn Brass have become an integral part of the Irvine and North Ayrshire area. We’ve been serenading Marymass Queens & local crowds for years and years and many locals have been a part of the band over the years. To celebrate turning 40 we will be having a weekend of activities in late August.

40th Anniversary Concert

Irvine & Dreghorn Brass Band will be celebrating 40 years in Scottish banding this year. Our first public concert was in the summer of 1976 in the Magnum Theatre, Irvine and so, we are returning to the Magnum Theatre on Friday 26th August, 2016 to perform our Anniversary Concert. (Address: the Harbour, Irvine, KA12 8PP).

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £6 and £4 for concessions

All players and supporters past, present and future are invited!

40th Anniversary Ball

To help celebrate 40 years in Scottish banding Irvine & Dreghorn Brass Band will be hosting an Anniversary Ball in Beechams Social Club on Saturday 27th August. (Address: Shewalton Road, Irvine, Ayrshire, KA11 5AJ).

The event starts at 7pm and tickets are £25. A hot buffet meal will be provided and tunes from the band ‘Familiar Faces’.

We’d love to see the ‘familiar faces’ of past members & supporters from across the years.
